The origin of SASAWASHI is socks.
Our main business was originally in textiles where we developed Sasa-Washi for more than 20 years. The first SASAWASHI products we made with the yarn were five-toed socks and ribbed socks. With painstaking research, we were surprised at how smooth and comfortable they felt, completely different from cotton socks.
